Ignite Venue announced!
Ignite MNC is on again in 2019 in an Award winning Macleay Valley venue! Ignite has been embraced in the Bowraville and Bellingen communities over the last two years and this year the Ignite MNC Symposium is headed to the fabulous Slim Dusty Centre.
About the venue…
Opening in late 2015, the Slim Dusty Centre was built as a flexible multipurpose facility. The building offers a Visitor Information Centre, Function and Conference spaces, a Travelling Exhibition Gallery, Dusty’s Dinner Camp Café, and a Merchandise Shop. The Slim Dusty Shop takes pride in the unique Slim Dusty gifts and other local products on show. The Slim Dusty Museum, an “Australian Life In Song” is a major tourism draw card and multi Award winner.
Before his passing and the opening of the building, Slim Dusty said ”I look forward to the eventual opening of a venture that will showcase not just my music and my life, but the role that Australian country music has played in the culture of the north coast of NSW, and indeed, Australia..”
Following this concept, the Centre now offers a range of musical events and the gallery space hosts rotating exhibitions.
The Ignite MNC 2019 experience includes a full day program of speakers, activations and exhibitions.
