FlyPelican to launch direct flights between Canberra and Port Macquarie

FlyPelican has announced that they will be operating direct services between Canberra and Port Macquarie from the 1st November 2020*
The new flights will be a major boost for the local regions connecting locals to and from the nation’s capital for medical appointments, education, business opportunities and more importantly in the current environment to visit friends and family.

Direct flights will operate initially every Thursday and Sunday afternoon. Port Macquarie will be the ninth destination added to the growing FlyPelican network and it will be the third destination from Canberra Airport.
Port Macquarie-Hastings Council Mayor Peta Pinson welcomed the announcement by Fly Pelican, in partnership with Canberra Airport, of the commencement of direct air services between Port Macquarie and Canberra.
“The new services demonstrate Fly Pelican’s confidence in our growing community and recovery from COVID-19. Direct services to our nation’s Capital will provide an exciting addition to the airline services available at Port Macquarie Airport, and will further promote our region as a leading business and tourism destination on the NSW Mid North Coast”.
The launch fares will start from $149 one way inclusive of taxes.
