Bushfires November 2019: how can you support the region?
Bushfires have severely impacted the Mid North Coast in 2019 and there are still numerous fires throughout the region. The dire situation has displaced many people and animals and while it’s a terrifying and challenging time for many the flip side is the kind, generous and enormous amount of community support that has rallied.
If you are wanting to assist the Bushfire recovery efforts in the Mid North Coast our best suggestion is that you act and donate as locally as you possibly can. Please know that many of the evacuation and emergency centres are now full to the brim with donations of clothing, bedding, toiletries etc. Consider donating money to local not for profit organisations so that goods can be purchased as needed.
